Bondax’s latest feel good single ‘Real Thing’ is juxtaposed by an intense film directed by Jay, along with fellow director, Ralph Briscoe.

The story follows a protagonist and his emotional journey to self acceptance. As the main character goes from one persona to the next, with scenes jumping from being dark and unnerving to seductive and humorous, the film portrays the highs and lows of someone in constant conflict with their identity. The narrative delves into the unrealistic expectations we place upon ourselves to be like other people and the obsession to be perfect. In particular, the film focuses on the pressures young men feel to constantly hide their emotions as well as identity issues ethnic minorities experience from lack of aspirational representation of people like them in the media.
